PhosAgro has challenged in US court the US International Trade Commission's decision to impose duties on imports of phosphate-based fertilizers. The duty was set at 9.19% for the company for a period of 5 years. Earlier PhosAgro proved that the U.S. Department of Commerce made a mistake in calculating the preliminary duty, using data on the company's sales only in the Russian market, not taking into account exports. This lowered the rate from the initial level of 20.94% to the current value.
