Deutsche Bank has engaged Oracle to develop software to simplify its information technology systems. Oracle will move Deutsche Bank's core functions, such as payments, trading and risk management, into one system. This will reduce the bank's total annual costs to $16.7 billion from $19.5 billion by the end of 2022.
