eBay has completed the merger of its advertising business with Adevinta of Norway. As part of the deal Adevinta paid eBay $2.5 billion in cash and 540 million of its common stock. eBay's stake in Adevinta will be 44%. The total value of the deal was $13 billion. eBay will reduce its financial stake in Adevinta to at least 33% within 18 months after the deal closes.
