Kite Realty Group Trust and Retail Properties of America have entered into a merger agreement. The combined company will have a market capitalization of approximately $4.6 billion and an EV of $7.5 billion. Under the terms of the agreement, each common share of Retail Properties will be converted into 0.6230 common shares of Kite Realty. The transaction is scheduled to close in Q4 2021.
