New Metro development strategy until 2030 involves launching a marketplace in major markets and reducing the range by 30-40%. Now Metro sells about 75,000 product items in its malls. The company intends to focus on working with key customers - hospitality, catering and non-network retail. Their share of total sales by 2030 will increase from 66 to 80 percent. Marketplace sales will increase 60 times to more than € 3 billion and total sales almost 2 times to € 40 billion.
