Ford will test a bi-directional power system for the Ford F-150 Lightning pickup truck with PG&E customers. The electric vehicle is capable of both receiving power and giving it away to other customers. The partners intend to use the electric pickup as a backup power source to provide stable power to PG&E customers' homes.
