Agroholding Rusagro is interested in buying the Russian business of Finnish dairy producer Valio, which announced its departure from Russia, Kommersant sources have told Kommersant. The deal may include the rights to the Viola cheese brand and to a plant near Moscow with the capacity of 15 thousand tons of products a year. The revenue of the Russian division of Valio in 2021 grew by 8.78% to ₽8.14 billion, and net profit - by 29.25% to ₽320.47 million year to year. Rusagro and Valio did not provide comments.
