Livent is acquiring 25% of Nemaska Lithium, a lithium hydroxide project in Canada. Livent will issue 17.5 million common shares to The Pallinghurst Group to pay for the stake. Upon closing, Livent's interest in Nemaska Lithium will be 50%. The Nemaska plant has a design capacity of 34,000 tons of lithium hydroxide per year and is scheduled to be operational in 2025.
