Yandex's subsidiary in Finland, which owns the local data center, has changed its name to Global DC Oy and is under surveillance by the authorities, Finnish broadcaster YLE reported. Jussi Halla-aho, chairman of Finland's parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, calls for an investigation into the legality of Yandex's information and news distribution, noting that any kind of business involving Russian money in the country should be kept to a minimum.
