GAZ Group started serial production of iron castings for engines at the Nizhny Novgorod foundry as part of the import substitution program. Investments in the project amount to ₽4.7 billion, of which ₽500 million is the FRP preferential loan. The production capacity of the plant is more than 60,000 tons of iron castings per year. The products are already supplied to the Yaroslavl and Ulyanovsk Motor Plants, as well as the Gorky Automobile Plant, the Kanash Auto Aggregate Plant and other enterprises.
