Sitronics, a Sistema company, has developed a satellite constellation project consisting of 157 satellites by 2025. The satellites will perform tasks in remote sensing of the Earth, navigation of ships, Internet of things, and fire monitoring. The cost of the project is estimated at ₽20 billion, of which ₽10 billion the company proposes to finance to the government under the mechanism of cross-cutting projects. Sitronics has invested ₽1 billion of its own funds so far.
