BP is selling its 50% interest in the Sunrise oil sands project in Canada to Cenovus Energy. For its share BP will receive C$600 million, as well as 35% in the Bay du Nord project for oil production offshore Newfoundland and Labrador. The deal is scheduled to close later in 2022.
