Costco Wholesale closed the deal to buy a 45% stake in Costco-Taiwan

Costco Wholesale bought from minority shareholders 45% in the joint venture Costco-Taiwan. The transaction amounted to $1.05 billion. Costco Taiwan is now wholly owned by Costco Wholesale.
