Titanium producer VSMPO-AVISMA is studying the possibility of raw material extraction in Russia. Earlier the corporation purchased it in Ukraine. Now supplies come from African countries and Vietnam. The company displays its keen interest in obtaining the right to use Tsentralny Zirconium Titanium deposit in Tambov Region, Rosnedra press service informed RBC. The auction for the eastern part of the deposit may be held at the end of 2022. The initial payment for the right to use the plot will amount to ₽1.7 billion.
