RusHydro may install at new CHPP-4 in Khabarovsk russian steam-powered units instead of foreign gas-turbine machines. This proposal was made by Mikhail Degtyarev, head of the region, who personally oversees the construction project for the gas-fired CHPP-4, which is supposed to replace the outdated and inefficient coal-fired CHPP-1. The design electric capacity is 320.8 MW, and the heat capacity is 1,368.3 Gcal/h.
