Danaher intends to spin off the environmental and application solutions segment into an independent public company EAS. Spin-off is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023. EAS will consist of Danaher's water quality and product identification operating companies. Revenue for this segment was $4.7 billion in 2021.
