Micron will invest up to $100 billion to build a huge computer chip manufacturing complex in upstate New York over the next 20 years, the latest move by a major semiconductor maker to invest in the United States. Investments were made possible by the recently passed Chips and Science Act, which provides $52 billion in grants and subsidies, Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said.
