Vladimir Putin signed the law on increasing the tax on LNG exports to 34%

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into law a law which will increase the income tax for exporters of liquefied natural gas from 20% to 34% for the years 2023-2025. Rate change concerns LNG producers who have exported at least one batch of such gas by the end of 2022.
