Polish Competition and Consumer Protection Court overturned the decision to impose a €6.46 billion fine on Gazprom and a €52 million fine on five companies involved in the construction of the Nord Stream-2 pipeline. In 2016, Poland did not approve the application for a joint venture as part of the construction of Nord Stream-2. Since the joint venture was created anyway, in 2020, the country's antimonopoly regulator imposed a fine on the partners in the amount of 68.5% of the investment in the pipeline project.
