U.S. notebook maker HP will cut its global workforce by about 4,000 to 6,000 people over the next few years, a reduction of about 10 percent. The company announced this along with the release of its financial results for fiscal 2022. HP's net income has been cut in half over the past 12 months. Management expects that the downsizing and digital transformation of the business will result in savings of $1.4 billion annually.
