Lukoil to sell refinery in Sicily for €1.5 billion

The buyer of Lukoil's refinery in Sicily is likely to become the American Crossbridge Energy Partners. The companies are close to conclude a deal, Reuters reports. The deal is estimated at about €1.5 billion. Sources said that negotiations between the companies accelerated amid the news that the Italian government wants to attract the oil and gas group Eni to manage the refinery.
