Segezha Group plans to use organic sewage sludge in the sludge collector of the biological treatment plant at Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill to produce organomineral fertilizers. Relevant scientific research is being carried out by the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Forestry. Field tests will take place on the territory of Segezha Group's forest lease in the near future. Expected that the new eco-friendly products will appear at the mill in a year and a half or two years.
