Inter RAO first started exporting electricity to Kyrgyzstan. Deliveries are made in transit through Kazakhstan. During the fall and winter period of 2023-2024, it is planned to export 875 million kWh. The main factor determining the volume of supply is the throughput capacity of Kazakhstan's power grids. If it allows, Inter RAO is ready to fully cover the existing shortage of electricity in Kyrgyzstan, which reaches 3 billion kWh.
