Sberbank began testing the first ATM in Russia that does not involve the use of cards, but is controlled by a smartphone. ATM allows to get and deposit cash by scanning a QR-code using Sberbank Online application. Equipment costs for such an ATM are 15% lower, and maintenance costs are 20% lower. Decision to replicate the new devices will depend on the results of experiments and feedback from the bank's customers.
