Raspadskaya plans to increase its annual coal production to 35 million tonnes and is considering expanding its product portfolio to include premium coking coal as well as thermal coal grades used to produce pulverized coal fuel for steelmakers. In part, the company plans to achieve this through the development of production at the existing facilities, and also does not rule out the possibility of acquiring additional coal licenses and new facilities.
