Polymetal increased its stake in the Baksy project in Kazakhstan from 7.5% to 75%. Remaining 25% is owned by the state-owned company Kazgeologiya JSC. Now the company continues active geological exploration of the site and is preparing to conduct a JORC compliant mineral resource estimate. Decision on the start of production is planned to be made in 2024. According to preliminary estimates, the site reserves amount to 68.1 thousand ounces of gold and 14.3 thousand tons of copper.
