Rosneft has developed a new hydraulic fracturing technology

Specialists of Rosneft's research institute in Ufa have developed an innovative technology of multi-stage hydraulic fracturing for ultra-low permeability rocks. New technology will make it possible to increase the productivity of wells at fields with complex geological structure by 2-3 times. For example, after the technology was applied to two wells in the Bazhenov formation, the flow rate was 80 and 200 tons per day, respectively, which is twice as high as at similar facilities.
