Trading volume on the derivatives market in August reached the maximum since 2022

Trading volume on Moscow Exchange's futures market totaled ₽9 trillion in August, which is the highest since February 2022. Leaders in terms of trading volume were futures on USD-RR and CNY-RR currency pairs, natural gas contracts, RTS and Moscow Exchange indices. Transactions with futures and options were concluded by a record number of clients in the history of the derivatives market - 149 thousand, of which 68% were individuals.
