Number of investors has reached 34% of economically active population

Number of private investors with unique passport data rose to 25.95 million at end-June 2023, representing 34% of the economically active population. Share of empty accounts remained at 66%, while the share of clients with assets of up to ₽10,000 remained at 22%. Meanwhile, the average account size increased from ₽225 thousand to ₽241 thousand during the quarter, and excluding empty and small accounts, from ₽1.4 million to ₽1.8 million. Total assets increased to ₽8 trillion.
