X5 Retail Group opened the 1000th discounter Chizhik. Store with an area of almost 350 square meters was opened in Krasnodar. Assortment of the anniversary Chizhik includes about 700 products, more than 400 of which are unique brands of the chain. X5 Retail Group started to develop a network of discounters in 2021. Within two years the stores appeared in more than 300 cities and small towns in 34 regions of Russia. In 2023, the company plans to open at least 1,600 stores and enter 11 new regions.
