Previous historical maximum in export shipments was set in October 2020 and amounted to more than 800 thousand tons. Overall, in January-August 2023, the volume of transshipment amounted to 5.3 million tons, which was 2.3 times higher than in the same period last year. Largest volume of shipments came from five countries: Turkey, Egypt, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Iran.
