Polymetal intends to move the construction of the Pacific Hydrometallurgical Plant from Sovetskaya Gavan in Khabarovsk Krai to Kazakhstan, said the head of the company Vitaly Nesis. Investment volume in the project after moving the site is estimated at $700-800 million. Company's Board of Directors in 2021 approved the initial investment in the project, which included design, ordering equipment and preparation of the construction site. Of these, $10-15 mln was spent, and an autoclave was also ordered for MMC.
