Rostelecom wants to compensate for the shortage of IT personnel with the help of technology

Rostelecom intends to automate software development, data analytics and testing using artificial intelligence on the basis of its own Lukomorye platform within two to three years. Creation of the platform will make it possible to cope with the deficit of IT personnel, which is estimated at 500-700 thousand people in Russia. Operator plans both to use the platform in its own projects and to sell it to other companies. Investments in the project at the initial stage alone may amount to more than ₽1.5 billion.
