VK is getting more and more Yandex

VK has appointed two new top managers: Vice President for Advertising Technologies Pyotr Popov and Vice President and Director for Information Security Anton Karpov. Prior to joining VK, Popov worked at Yandex, where he had been developing search and advertising technologies for more than 10 years. Karpov also joined VK from Yandex. Earlier, Sergey Lyadzhin, director of personal services at Yandex, joined VK after becoming technical director of the VKontakte social network.
