State Duma approved in the second reading the export of LNG from Rosneft's Arctic fields

State Duma passed in the second reading a bill amending the law "On Gas Exports", according to which the right to export LNG may be granted to subsoil areas on land north of 67 degrees north latitude. The bill would grant export rights to 36 Rosneft fields in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Nenets and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs. Third reading is scheduled for October 18.
