State Duma in the 1st reading allowed Novatek to export LNG without a link to fields

State Duma passed in the first reading a bill allowing Novatek's subsidiaries to export liquefied natural gas without being tied to specific fields. In addition, the bill will allow Novatek to export LNG directly from the operating Cryogas-Vysotsk project. Currently, Kriogaz-Vysotsk exports LNG under an agency agreement with Gazprom Export.
