Magnit buys 33% of Samberi chain

Retailer Magnit has agreed to buy 33.01% in the largest Far Eastern chain Samberi. As part of the deal, Magnit also received an option to buy out the rest of the company within five years. Amount of the deal is not disclosed. CEO of INFOLine-Analitika Mikhail Burmistrov estimates the total value of Samberi at ₽20-25 billion, based on which 33.01% could be worth ₽6.6-8.3 billion.
