Novatek created a legal entity for Murmansk LNG

Novatek established LLC Murmansk LNG. Dmitry Anishchenko, who heads Novatek-Ust-Luga, became CEO. Earlier it was reported that Novatek is studying the possibility of building a new large-capacity LNG project in the Murmansk region, consisting of three liquefaction lines with a capacity of 6.8 million tons each. LNG plant compressors will be powered by the surplus resource of the Kola NPP, and a 1,300 km gas pipeline will have to be built to supply gas to Murmansk.
