Retailer Magnit has begun testing the format of mini-markets at home. Area of such outlets - from 80 to 100 square meters, which is three times smaller than the standard stores of the network. Assortment of retail outlets will have 1300-1600 items. Retailer has already opened three mini-markets in Moscow and Moscow region under the name Magnit near. Such outlets the company plans to develop mainly in dormitory districts - places where there is not enough space for standard stores.
