Pilot operation of the Sukhoi Log gold deposit in the Irkutsk Region will begin in 2024, says the press service of the regional government. Sukhoi Log is one of the largest undeveloped gold deposits in the world. According to 2020 estimates, the deposit's reserves amount to 40 million ounces of gold with an average grade of 2.3 g/t, resources - 67 million ounces with a grade of 1.9 g/t.
