Severstal launched an investment project to build heating furnace No. 3 at Mill 2000 at Cherepovets Steel Mill. This is the third stage of technical re-equipment of the furnace section of CherMK's busiest hot strip mill. Mill 2000 produces about 65% of CherMK's output. Investments in the project will amount to more than ₽6 billion.
