IL-212 prototype with PD-8 engine will be ready by the end of 2026

UAC has started developing the technical design of the IL-212 aircraft with the Pd-8 turbojet engine, which will replace the AN-26 and AN-72, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said. Prototype of the military transporter should be ready by the end of 2026.
