Boris Kovalchuk, who has headed Inter RAO for the past 15 years, may leave the company in the near future for a promotion, a Kommersant source said. He may head Gazprom, Rosneft, become deputy prime minister for fuel and energy instead of Alexander Novak, or become governor of St. Petersburg. Inter RAO is likely to be headed by Sergei Dregval, who comes from the St. Petersburg administration and is the former head of Rosseti Ural. Inter RAO's Board of Directors will make the necessary decisions on March 14.
