Lukoil oil company expects to restore broken equipment at the Nizhny Novgorod refinery within one or two months, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said. In January 2024, the emergency automatic protection system was triggered at the catalytic cracking unit. As a result, the technological process was stopped. Cause of the system activation was a mechanical failure of a compressor part.
