Government and Novatek to invest ₽24.3 billion to build LNG equipment

Government and Novatek have agreed to allocate ₽24.3 billion to create equipment for LNG projects until 2030. Government will allocate half of this amount, the other half will be provided by Novatek and machine builders. Investments will be used to develop 22 types of critical equipment needed for LNG projects. Successful implementation of the projects is expected to increase the level of import substitution in the LNG production segment to 80%.
