Segezha Group entered the energy market by producing a trial batch of "green" coal from woodworking waste. Fuel is currently undergoing quality testing. Charcoal is superior to coal coke in a number of respects. It has a higher carbon content, but less phosphorus and sulfur, which is important, for example, for metallurgy. In addition, the use of charcoal is not accompanied by emissions of greenhouse or toxic gases into the atmosphere.
