Design work on Rusal's alumina refinery in the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region will begin in late 2024 or early 2025. At present, survey work is continuing, in particular, the process of land survey for the port terminal and road infrastructure is underway. Investments in the project are estimated at ₽400 billion. However, by the start of its implementation, the required amount of investments may increase by 10-15%, analysts believe.
