Alrosa started drilling freezing wells at the Mir-Gluboky mine

Alrosa started drilling 84 freezing wells at the construction site of the Mir-Gluboky underground mine, 42 wells at the skip shaft and 42 wells at the cage shaft. Upon completion of the work in the first quarter of 2025, a refrigerant will be supplied, which will create an ice and rock curtain - according to the project, it will prevent the penetration of groundwater from the aquifer and allow mine construction workers to safely carry out the mine construction work.
