Mechel's Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant will buy the property of the Guryevsky Metallurgical Plant for ₽555 million, according to a notice of the auction for the sale of the asset. Surveillance procedure was introduced at GMZ in 2014, in November - external management, at the end of 2016 the enterprise was recognized bankrupt. By mid-2021, the debt amounted to ₽16.7 billion.
