Trading volume in 2024 to reach ₽1.49 quadrillion

Total trading volume on Moscow Exchange markets in December 2024 rose 2% to ₽142.3 trillion. On a full year basis, total trading volume reached ₽1.49 quadrillion, up 1.6%. In the equity market, trading volume in December increased by 80% to ₽3.8 trillion. In the bond market, trading volume increased by 54% to ₽4.3 trillion. In the derivatives market, trading volume increased by 35% to ₽11.9 trillion. Trading volume in the money market increased by 29% to ₽110 trillion.
